ClinBound
Beta and Early Access Terms
Effective August 18, 2026
These terms apply on top of the Terms of Service in two situations: when you use a pre-release version of ClinBound (for example through TestFlight or an invitation from us), and when you use any feature labeled Beta inside the released app.
What beta means here
Beta software is unfinished by definition. Expect bugs, missing pieces, features that change or disappear between versions, and rough edges we already know about. Features carrying a Beta label in the released app — currently the Learning practice bank and the Opportunities catalog — are usable and useful, but their content and behavior are still being built out, and the app says so where they live.
A pre-release build is more unfinished than that: it may crash, behave differently from what these pages describe, or require you to reinstall and start over.
Data in beta can be lost
Everything the Data Retention and Deletion Policy says about keeping your own copies applies double in a beta. Pre-release builds may be wiped, reset, or migrated in ways that lose data, and we do not promise that anything you enter in a pre-release build will survive into the released product. Do not put the only copy of anything you care about into a beta.
Your feedback
Feedback is the point of a beta, and we genuinely want it — what broke, what confused you, what you wished existed. By sending feedback you give us the right to use it freely to improve the product, without payment or attribution, and without any obligation to implement it. Don't send us ideas you consider confidential or expect to be compensated for.
Access can change or end
Beta access is an invitation, not an entitlement. We may add or remove testers, gate or ungate features, pause a beta, or end it entirely at any time. When a beta feature graduates, these terms stop applying to it; if a beta feature is removed, whatever you entered through it is handled per the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
No warranty during beta
The Terms of Service's disclaimers and liability limits apply with full force to beta software and beta features, and the "as is" nature of the service is at its most literal here. TestFlight builds are also subject to Apple's own TestFlight terms.
